A limited time offer can often move the skeptic customer and procrastinator from prospect to buying customer. Since putting a deadline on an offer frequently will move that hesitant person to action. Try making Avon coupons.

For Example A Coupon:

Try this with any special for example: 15% off a order or Buy One, Get One Free of (any item).

To make the coupons just create a document with 2 columns. Write out your coupon with any fronts, colors, or script. Add a image if you can. Copy and paste several on on sheet of paper. Print them out and cut them.

What A Avon Representative Should Remember When They Start A Marketing Campaign

Here are a few tips a Avon Representative should keep in mind when they are launching a new marketing campaign for their Avon business.

A Avon Representative will get 80% of their sales from 20% of their customers. Know exactly who those 20% are and target that group with power.

Research is a very important part of your marketing plan.  Ask and Answer who your prospects are, and where, why, when, and how they are converted into active buyers.

I find that most of my buyers are women and many are over the age of 40. So I look for places and ways I can expose that group to my Avon business. One of the best places I have found to sell in is a retirement community. I have many residents buy, and even more nurses and aids.

As your business grows, prepare a strategic marketing plan looking at how your Avon products will meet the long-term needs of your customers.

The Ick Factor In The Avon Representative Sales Process

Avon tells us Avon Representative that the fortune is in the follow-up. When you follow-up with your customers you re-connect with them and continue to build a relationship, which allows your business to grow. All the sales experts say to follow up and ask for the sale, do not wait for them to call you. Just because a customer hasn't called doesn't mean they do not want to buy, they may be waiting for you or they have forgot when the order is due back to you.

But if you are like me, you do not make that call because you do not want to bother the customer or appear pushy. I did a survey with my regular customers that asked the question "would you like a reminder call", all but one asked for a follow up call.

So What Can We Do:

The term follow-up is misleading by definition. We do not want to "follow" but take the "lead". Based on the definition of lead from dictionary.com, ‘to act as a guide or to influence’, we can see that this word is much more appropriate. The term lead is a perfect description of the part of the sales process where the representative gets in contact with the customer to ask for the sell.

When we need to change follow-up to lead-up. That way we get a description of what we need to be doing. We are given positive action verbs that make us believe we are acting in the best interest of the customer.

Do You Think This Is A Good Idea? Please Comment With Your Opinion.

What Every Avon Representative Should Know About Buyer Behavior

Every Avon Representative should know that customers do not buy products because of a sales pitch. They really buy products from Avon representative because the product will solve a problem they are dealing with.

I have found a great article “Buyers Buy for Their Own Reasons, Not Ours!” that covers buyers’ behavior and motivation for making purchases that I want to share with you. I have found the information in the article to be very useful in my own Avon business,

“In its simplest form, motivation emerges as a cycle. It starts with a want or need, expressed or hidden. Inherent in this is a problem, a problem that must be overcome in order to satisfy the want that must be solved. Once solved, the want can be satisfied and the cycle is completed….”
